In 1975 talented perfumer Yuri Gutsatz defied the conventions of the fragrance industry that was becoming overrun by corporations and mass marketing by launching the world’s first “niche” fragrance house; a house founded and run by its own perfumer. However after his death the house faded into obscurity until his son Michel and partner Clara took on the task of reimagining Yuri’s house for the modern age. “The Rediscovered Garden” of today stays true to Yuri’s vision, whilst leading the way in sustainable fragrance production and putting a spotlight on personal wellbeing.
